Girl's Tea Party

The girl's both love tea parties so during Spring Break we went to afternoon tea with Nana. We had a fun girl's afternoon and are looking forward to our next tea with Nana.

Field Trip to Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

There was no school today (conferences) so Pippi's Preschool (FWCP) went on a field trip to Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium in Tacoma. The girls had a wonderful time. Pippi got to hang out with all her little friends and Serena actually got to meet 2 other 5th graders who will be going to Kilo with her next year! Serena has always loved the Beluga Whales, so now Pippi has acquired a love for them. We had to drag her away from the tank and for 2 hours after we left the zoo, she screamed for them! Other than the screaming we had a great day and Pippi continues to use the potty everywhere we go..................

Eric Hutchinson Concert

Serena and I both love Eric Hutchinson. He was a guest on Live from Daryl's house (check out his show in the Archives) and was phenomenal! Serena love's his song "Rock and Roll" and we both love "OK, It's Alright with Me". I saw him in December at a small club in Ballard and then he played the Paramount in Seattle a couple of weeks ago and we got to meet him. He is a great and talented guy - hope he goes far.

Mom's 77th Birthday Party!

It has become a tradition to take my Mom to Benihana on her birthday - we all had a great time. The food was good and of course we got the January special (2 dinners for $20.09). The kids love to watch the "show".

It's February and that's when I start working on my New Year's Resolutions - so let's hope this works and I can cross it off the list!
